US: Another shooting at school, arrested professor
A shooting has taken place in Dalton city, in the US state of Georgia, in which no student was injured or endangered, Tanjug writes.
One professor was arrested and before the arrest he barricaded himself in the classroom, the police said in a statement without any details, reports Fox News.
A police spokesman told local television that the professor had a gun with him.
Unnamed eyewitnesses say shots were heard.
The school was evacuated, and the police confirmed on Twitter that no student is in danger.
Only two weeks after the gunshot in school, a former student shot and killed 17 people in Florida’s high school, which opened a debate about the control of firearms in the United States.
