Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that Russia needed a move to improve living standards.
Putin also said Russia should expand its freedom in all spheres and open up to the world and new ideas.
The Russian leader stressed that his country must overrun the poverty rate for the next six years and provide jobs for its citizens.He also announced that Russia will invest 3.4 trillion rubles to help families and demographic growth in the next six years.
Russia should be among the top five world economies and raise gross domestic product per capita by 1.5 times over the next decade, the Russian president said.
It is widely expected that Putin will win a re-election in the presidential election on March 18th.
